What is Coupon Stacking?

Did you know that you could "stack coupons?" Do you know what it means to "stack coupons?" If you learn this art in the couponing world, you will get even BIGGER savings.

Stacking coupons does not mean that you are simply putting your coupons in a stack to take to the grocery store with you.

Coupon stacking is when you use a manufacturer's coupon with a store coupon on one item. That's right. You can use two coupons on one item to get BIG savings, but one has to be a manufacturer's coupon, and the other a store coupon. The best time to "stack coupons" are when the items are on sale. Then you get even BIGGER savings.

Here is an example below. This week, Walgreen's has a coupon in their circular for $10.00 off Crest 3D Whitestrips. This is a store coupon. P&G has circulated a few coupons for $10.00 Crest 3D Whitestrips. This is a manufacturer's coupon. What does this mean? You could get $20.00 off Crest Whitestrips, instead of just $10.00 off, if you use both the store coupon and the manufacturer's coupon. Great deal huh? If you like to use Crest Whitestrips, this deal is for you! There are always chances to stack coupons to maximize savings. In summary, coupon stacking is when you can use a store coupon with a manufacturer's coupon on one item to get big savings.

Free Dawn Olay Hand Renewal Dish Soap

If you have been keeping up with my blog the last few weeks, you are learning a little bit about using coupons. I hope you have learned alot and I will continue to share my tips with you.

It has taken about three months to get a good supply of coupons to pair with sales. I keep all of my coupons in a binder and use them only when I find a sale on the item--bringing the price to free or almost free. Keep all coupons that come across because you never know when you will be able to use it for something free. When I received the Sunday paper today, I glanced through the circulars to see what the sales were and to see which items I had coupons for. Click on my "Coupon Tips" tab at the top of my homepage to see where I find coupons.

Here is a good example of saving your coupons for a sale. The other day I was in Target browsing and had my coupon binder with me. I saw the clearance section and found a Gillette Fusion Razor, regular priced at $7.00 on sale for $3.50. I had a $4.00 off coupon, so I actually got paid to take the razor home. I have taken many razors home for free.

Want free dish soap? Save your coupons! This coupon came from the free Home Made Simple coupon book that I posted on my blog recently. Save the coupon for the sale. I have received about four of these dish soaps for free in the last few months. See below to see how I received this for free.
