I am sure many of you are enjoying time spent with family and friends this week. This is the time of year when we remember all of the things we are thankful for. Every day should be Thanksgiving, since we have so much to be thankful for. Each day is not promised to us, so if you are reading this, you should be thankful.
I am thankful for...
...the gift of life.
...my wonderful family, near and far.
...my husband who is currently serving our country.
...my daughter, who reminds me to slow down and cherish the simple things in life.
...being able to stay at home with my daughter and watch her grow up.
...a house to live in, food to eat, clothes to wear, clean water to drink, transportation.
...my Air Force family.
...my church family.
...a warm bed to sleep in at night.
...YOU, my readers.
There is so much to be thankful for and this is the time of year to sit back and reflect on everything that we do have, instead of what we don't have. I hope that we can remember to reach out to those who are less fortunate than we are. I pray we can all be cheerful givers and give to those in need. Enjoy Thanksgiving and be sure to tell everyone around you how much they mean to you and how much they are loved.
***I will not be posting on Thanksgiving Day. I will be spending quality time with family. I will return to posting on Friday!
