The first thing I do each morning is stumble to the coffee pot after my two year old daughter yells, "wake up!" several times...to make my pot of coffee. I make about 4 cups but only drink about two of those. I always have "leftovers" just in case they are needed (most days they are!)

I actually am a Gevalia girl, but only just recently since I got my coffee maker and coffee from them for just $14.95. You sound like me though. I brew 4 cups but usually only drink 2 cups. Its there though just in case I need it later in the day. Sometimes I do need it.
