How to Pair Coupons with Sales

When you take the time to pair your coupons with sales, this is when you save big.

To pair coupons with sales:
1. Take your grocery circular and find what is on sale.
2. Look through your coupons to see which ones you have that will match those sales on items you are interested in.

At Food Lion, check out these great deal match-ups.

Playtex Tampons are on sale for $2.99. I will be able to get tampons for $0.99 a box after using these two coupons, saving $4.00.

Pepperidge Farm Goldfish are on sale this week for $1.99 (this includes the grahams.) I can get these for $1.25 with my $0.75 off coupon.

I can get $1.00 off two Hot Pockets, and Hot Pockets are on sale for 3/$5.00

I can get the 12 pack of Cottonelle and Scott toilet paper for $4.99 with these two coupons for $1.00 off.

And these soups? Only $1.00!

Print Target Coupon (under Office Supplies) here.

Use these two coupons together (coupon stacking) to get the Bic items for FREE!

*If you can confirm that these are on sale for $1.00 this week, please leave a comment! I didn't see Bic items in the circular!

How to Take Advantage of Coupon Match Ups and Coupon Stacking

Dole fruit cups are on sale 3/$5 at Walgreens this week. I have a coupon for $2 off 6 packages. If I buy 6/$10 and use the $2 coupon, I will get these for $8. The Dole Fruit Cups will then cost only $1.33 a package which is good considering they are usually $2 regular price. This is a good time to stock up on these and use several of these coupons if you have them and know you are going to buy this item often.

I also see that Walgreens has a *store coupon* for 99 cent Lindsay Olives. I have a *manufacturers coupon* for 55 cents off any Lindsay item. When you pair a store coupon with a manufacturers coupon, this is called "coupon stacking." I will then get these for 44 cents a can, which is great for a large can of olives. The small cans of Great Value olives usually cost a little over $1.00.

Here is another example of coupon stacking. I have a manufacturers coupon for $1.50 off any two Ziploc products. I also have a store coupon for $1.00 off any two Ziploc. If I pair these together, I will get $2.50 off of two Ziploc products. I can use them now, or wait until Ziploc Products go on sale at Walgreens and get even more savings, I just have to make sure I use them before the expiration dates.
